Release in 2017, the iPhone X (pronounced iPhone 10) is the first iPhone in 3 generations to feature a change in form factor. The flagship device is the first Apple phone to feature an OLED (organic light emitting diode) display, similar to those found on flagship Android devices. The iPhone X is the first iPhone produced to not feature a home button and instead relies on gestures in order to navigate. In addition, the iPhone X is the first iPhone to use Face ID for user authenticaion and security.
